Manufacturing Technicians (Ref: 09/09)

ÉireComposites Teo. has vacancies for a number of Manufacturing Technicians in support of new programmes.
The Technicians will play an integral role within the Engineering function supporting Manufacturing Engineers with the development and manufacturing of test specimens/articles and demonstrators for subsequent testing and evaluation.
Successful candidates will ideally have experience in composite manufacturing, polymer processing or a background in ceramic materials. An ability to understand and interpret Engineering drawings and technical documentation is required.
Working within the bounds of company QA and R&D procedures candidates must be capable of maintaining accurate manufacturing records and documentation, of recommending process improvements to Engineering & Operations and participating in lean manufacturing and other initiatives.
Experience in the operation of measurement devices and equipment to perform production operations would be advantageous.
Candidates should be computer literate with good operating knowledge of MS Office suite.
Prospective candidates will have a minimum of one year's relevant experience, be self-motivated, a good team-worker and communicator with a willingness to train other personnel and will be enthusiastic and willing to update their skill-set in the company's core business areas.
