An opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and innovative company specialising in renewable energy solutions. We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to help design and develop cutting-edge mechanical systems for our offshore wind projects.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems for wind turbines and floating support structures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and project managers
Conduct design feasibility studies and analyse performance data to optimise mechanical systems
Participate in field experiments and commissioning activities
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the floating wind sector

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, analysis, and performance optimisation
Experience with CAD software and numerical simulation tools and methods
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
A background in marine or wind energy sectors would be advantageous
Job contains an element of travel, so a full clean driver’s license (recognised in Ireland) would be beneficial
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in renewable energy or similar
